The Leaky Faucet - Downing Street

Another Downing Street leak? Are you kidding me? It turns out that sometime in the late spring of 2006, President "G"lobal "W"arming Bush wants to bring more than half of the troops the United States has in Iraq home.

Hey... wasn't this the guy who said we will set no deadlines because we don't want to give our enemies hope?

Just what in the world is going on here?

''Insurgencies by their nature need to be defeated by the country, the people of the country. A foreign occupying force really can't do that as effectively.''
-Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld

So just what does this mean? Are we going to bring our troops home by the summer of 2006 no matter what? Are we going to bring most of our troops home by then? Is the Iraqi military "ready", contrary to popular (and realistic) belief?

"G"lobal "W"arming Bush and the "G"reed "O"ver "P"eople party, knowing they will need a "boost" going into the 2006 Senatorial and Congressional elections are playing their "Ace in the hole"... Once again they are going to play US for the fools they think we are and attempt to "steal" another election.

With dwindling poll numbers for a lame-duck president and over 1700 American lives lost in a war that wasn't justified under its initial reasons, one has to ask, "Is this GW's way of throwing his "G"reed "O"ver "P"eople party-mates a bone?" After all, they have been good dogs, haven't they?

The Present Iraqi Civil War

Iraq's former interim prime minister Iyad Allawi said last week that a civil war may have already started in Iraq. A militant wing of Sunni, led by Zarqawi, is fighting the Shiite Sadr brigade in Baghdad. Allawi talked about the urgency of rebuilding the Iraqi army and went on to say that "force alone" can't stabilize Iraq. Economic growth and a government that represents all groups is necessary. He talked about developing an exit strategy that is based on conditions and not a timetable.

Okay, that is at least a start. Let's face reality - our nation can't afford to spend money on Iraq at the current pace much longer. We are already bankrupt. In addition, we need to turn our attention to improving our security infrastructure here at home.

Media Madman, Direct From England

On a BBC radio program broadcast here in the New York/ New Jersey Metropolitan area on 820AM, Tony Blair did something that you would never hear an American politician do. The British Prime Minister compared Muslim religious fanatics, like the ones who caused the death and destruction in London, to Christian Religious fanatics. He stated that these Muslim Religious fanatics have perverted their faith much like Christian Religious fanatics had done during the Crusades. That was a history lesson, and it appeared to be the same type of rhetoric as we heard before.

But then the best ally "G"lobal "W"arming Bush could have followed up with this statement:
Regarding Christian Religious Fanatics perverting their religion, "Some still do."

Do you think PM Blair was speaking directly to the American people or was he singling out GW Bush.

Listening to and watching the BBC gives one a certain view on America from the outside. Its raw and honest and straight forward. It's what the American media USED TO BE.

Responses - Lew's Poison Pen Answered

In response to Lew Warden's tirade on some of Madman's contributors, Rhian writes:

You, Lew Warden, in your desire to be as sexist a pig as Rush Limbaugh, are evidently equally as stupid in your ignorant lack of knowledge that the outing of a federal agent is a crime of treason, and further, that this crime has been committed by a source so close to Bush that it may as well be him.

Are you aware that Rove (the president's main advisor) has dual citizenship in the Germany and the US? Are you aware that all four grandparents of Rove were supporters of the Third Reich?

Has it occurred to you that if we have a President who is willing to commit treason, he may also be willing to abrogate the Constitution, wherein lie your liberties as well as mine???? Are you aware that the Bush family has been in business bed with the Bin Ladens for three generations?

Has it occurred to you that it is possible Bin Laden is a free man, because he has the protection of Bush?

And what are the real problems of this nation, as Bush funds outsourcing of major manufacturing, refuses to secure our border with Mexico, where 1.2 million illegals arrive every year, and the economy, despite the sprightly, federally created news reports to the contrary, gets in worse and worse shape?

And you, a fool by any other name, further divide the already squabbling people of this nation by calling Democrats names? Serve the beast, Lew as you will, as for me and my Republican household, who absolutely believe Bush to be tantamount to an Anti-Christ, we will rally 'round the Constitution, the law of the land, and insist to the death on our rights, our liberties, and our freedoms, in the face of treason on the part of our current administration, (nothing but thugs who have couped the White House) in the face of the new improved military, arriving from Iraq in time to enforce the NWO in the USA, and in the faces of people like you, men who hate women, men who are ignorant, men who divide to conquer, and men who are arrogantly blind.

In response to Lew Warden's "How on earth can you possible rationalize that Bush is responsible for 9-11?", Rhian writes:

I don't know what Noah will tell you, Lew, but I can tell you from my own experience with demolition work, that the towers went down on 9/11, the same way any high-rise goes down, after being rigged for demo with typical construction blast materials, except faster, as if something only the military would have, was used. And yeah, I was there when it happened.

In other words, if that was too difficult for you, 'the planes didn't do it'. 9/11 was just another lie, from people who have lied continually since seizing the White House.

Further, my father is retired from a 30 year career of accident investigation with the FAA. Before that, he flew bombers as well as fighters for the Air Force in WWII. He had one word for the report of the 9/11 attack, about the planes and the damage to the buildings from those planes. Keeping in mind that he knows everything about all planes, that they have been his life:

HORSES--T (edited)

We don't know the truth about 9/11, but we do know, 'the planes didn't do it'

You might want to refer to my previous note to you, specifically, in order to determine why 9/11 might have been done, and why it is entirely possible that the Bush administration was totally involved.

This might be really hard to get your mind around, Lew, but it is very possible that we have Pinky and the Brain in the White House, trying to take over the world..

(ack, yes, a female, oh woe, a female has had the audacity to write you in such a manner, will the sun come up tomorrow?????)
