News from the front, since you asked

Afghanistan is clearly visible on Keyhole, a satellite program Google has offered. A trial version for seven days is free and after that, purchase is about $30.00.

Where the air is clear, visibility is excellent to 300 feet above ground level. Even at 5000 feet, while 'flying' over Afghanistan, it is crystal clear that there are more likely to be approximately 200,000 troops on the ground, than the 20,000 the media keeps reporting.

Inquiries have verified that larger number. Further, the mainstream media is unable to get reports out of that country, of troop fatalities. We are confronted then, with more lies from the Bush administration.

Permanent US bases are built and being built in Afghanistan and in Iraq. They are clearly visible on Keyhole. Try it. You can spot the American locations easily because Americans build from an engineering base. Third world nations do not. Their fields are haphazard shapes. Their houses are likely to be small, not built in rows and close together in wavery lines. Officers quarters are easy to identify by their size and orderliness, as are facilities for military material and supply.

Our military bases are closing across the US for significant reasons, bankrupting local communities. One reason is that, of a total troop size of about 800,000, is in large part, no longer in the US.

Islamic insurgencies are growing alarmingly for a reason.

Consider this comparison however, by assessing your reaction if any group of foreign fighters docked their ships in our ports, emptied their personnel into our towns, and began shoving guns in your faces, and ordering you about. They would tell you that your traditions are flawed, and that you will learn their traditions, or die.

How fast would you throw bullets in that hunting rifle and start shooting?

Our military is in the process of doing exactly that, in Iraq and Afghanistan. Meanwhile, here in the US, our borders bleed illegals at the rate of 1.2 million per year. 1/10th of the entire population of Mexico has removed itself to our side of the border. They are mostly on welfare or taking jobs Americans would do, called construction jobs, which pay $15 to $27 per hour. $30,000,000 is sent by these illegals to Mexico, per year. It is Mexico's second largest source of income.

80,000 Arab Muslims live in the City of Phoenix in AZ. Over 80% of those are not documented. Most own homes and businesses. If 5% were sleeper terrorist cells, and were called to jihad, how many cops would it take to quell 4000 armed, trained, insurgents, in Arizona? I ask how many cops because there would be no military to deal with it. Imagine for a moment how many cops it would take if 10% of those Arab Muslims were sleeper terrorist cells, and 8,000 of them were called to jihad? What damage would 8000 suicide bombers do in the City of Phoenix?

With the potential problems in our own cities, why is our entire military two weeks away? With our borders not secure, how can we really be in a state of war? The administration cannot feed a headline to the media without creating a lie.

The situation, our American quagmire, has nothing to do with whether anyone is a Democrat or a Republican. It is being created by, at best an idiot, and at worst, by fascist design to accomplish global totalitarianism. We the People have been divided, and if we do not find a unified voice against growing insanity, we will be conquered.

Our property can now be seized by any city, anywhere in the US, and handed over to developers, as long as the tax base can be increased. The supreme court decision was handed down just last week. A Chinese company, funded by their government, is trying to buy Unocal. The Chinese government has issued a statement that if this transaction is politicized (or evaluated on the basis of Homeland Security) that they will consider that interference an act of war.

Social Security, Medicare, are bankrupted. Between Bush's wars and illegals, they have been sucked dry. Medical care for vets is $80,000,000,000. short while tens of thousands of troops return from middle east hellholes with injuries they will never get over. Blair is demanding billions in aid for Africa, payback for sacrificing his eminent position in England for allying with Bush in Iraq.

There have always been problems with administrations. However, there have never been this many, of this magnitude. This might be a call to arms, if pen is sword.

"Rove Throat"

"What we're going to go to now in the next stage, when Matt Cooper's e-mails, within Time Magazine, are handed over to the grand jury, the ultimate revelation, probably within the week of who his source is.

"And I know I'm going to get pulled into the grand jury for saying this but the source of...for Matt Cooper was Karl Rove, and that will be revealed in this document dump that Time magazine's going to do with the grand jury."
-Lawrence O'Donnell, senior MSNBC political analyst

It might be "fun to see Karl Rove frog-marched out of the White House in handcuffs."
-Former Ambassador Joe Wilson, Undercover and outed CIA agent Valerie Plame's husband, October, 2004

Well, I'll say it for record. If this is true, Karl Rove must be brought up on charges and anyone who aided and abetted him as well - Robert Novak I presume!
-Robert Scardapane

The question is, did Karl Rove testify that he wasn't the "leak" of Valerie Plame's name to a federal grand jury?

How many grand jury members can you fit on an Air Wellstone flight?

Just how did Karl Rove, a political operative with no White House or government standing at the time, get top secret information about the name of an undercover CIA operative?

Who gave Karl Rove the name?

Did it come from Dick "Go <F---> Yourself" Cheney's office, as was previously speculated?

Did a State Department spokesman with a keen intelligence curiosity, like John Bolton, who is slated to be the next UN Ambassador "leak to the leak"? Is this why the White House refuses to release papers that the Senate asked for before confirming him?
Does anyone with White House clearance get to see anything they want?

I can't wait to see Novak sweating it in front of a judge myself. Isn't it about time?

"Time to Pay Up, George"

So says the Far Right

"Conservatives would be appalled and demoralized by a Gonzales appointment."
-The National Review Online

Demoralized? Me too.

"Bush was very clear, and certainly his constituents believed him, when he said he would appoint justices like Scalia and Thomas." We are not in favor of Gonzales." Justice O'Connor was "a terrible disappointment."
-Phyllis Schlafly, a longtime conservative activist

A terrible disappointment? So much for respect.
Schlafly didn't even call him "President Bush." What about "respecting the office, Phyllis ?

"Whatever else you say about President Bush, he is certainly the type of man who says what he means and means what he says. I also think it's clear that the majority who elected him - and who elected 55 members of the Senate - is looking to him to fulfill that pledge."
-Paul Rosenzweig, a senior fellow at the Heritage Foundation

Are you kidding me? Attorney General Alberto Gonzales is considered too liberal by the Right Wing faithful who applauded him as the GW's choice for Attorney General. Sure, this man is unsuitable as a Supreme Court Justice, much for the same reasons that the Democrats didn't want him as our attorney general.

What the Far Right is afraid of is the Alberto Gonzales will not side with them 100 percent of the time. These people want to be able to control the Supreme Court. the "G"reed "O"ver "P"eople Party and the Far Right as a whole want "judicial activists."

Alberto Gonzales had sided with the majority decision in regard to the "judicial bypass" rule in Texas, which allows "informed Teenagers" to decide themselves if they want to get an abortion, without parental consent.

Personally, I don't think the Far right has a thing to worry about. For them, Alberto Gonzales would be a great choice. For the rest of US, just another Bush Disaster.

By the way, what in the world is the Attorney General doing in Iraq on July 4th? Why it's just another photo-op, boys and girls.

Media Madman

A Real New York Times Headline
Profits, Not Jobs, on the Rebound in Silicon Valley

This article refers to a company that makes "dumb terminals" to emulate PC workstations, the WYSE corporation. With the growing number of companies that use Citrix and Terminal Services (programs that allow a user to use any terminal - a PC without a hard drive - as a desktop PC) WYSE is selling more of their inexpensive hardware products. Their terminals used to be manufactured in Silicon Valley. Now these jobs are being outsourced.

The point of this article is what we here at Nationalview.org and Note From a Madman have been saying all along: The power of the almighty dollar and Big Corporate profits have become more important than the Average American and their needs.

And what of these "additional profits"? At least these companies must be paying more in taxes, right?

WRONG! They claim that, since they pay taxes overseas, that paying taxes here in America, where they actually sell their goods, would be "double taxation".

There must be rewards set up for companies that keep jobs here in the US and penalties for those who outsource. The American Economy first. The global Economy later.

A Quote of Warning

"Europeans should show their political maturity and not intertwine their interests with those of the Americans. They are advised to seriously avoid interference in this issue. We advise the Europeans not to fall into the trap of the Zionist media."
-Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Hamid Reza Asefi

Yeah, we all know how much Europe like "Zionists."

The above quote is how Iran answered the accusation that their new president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, was one of the American Embassy's hostage-takers in Tehran. Hey, I saw the pictures. If it wasn't him, then he has a double.

But what is really disturbing is that this wasn't advice, it was a warning. Iran is telling Europe to "stay out of our way, if you know what's good for you." These sentiments need to be answered. Iran, an "Axis of Evil" member now has the means to create Nuclear weapons, partially thanks to Russia, and they are
THE TRUE NUMBER ONE THREAT TO PEACE IN THE MIDDLE EAST.

Make no mistake about it, President "G"lobal "W"arming Bush's thinning out of our military has given Iran the "moxie" to stick their tongues out at US.
