Memorial Day's Madman
Monday, May 30, 2005
not to publish anything on this Memorial Day, except my thoughts on the future:
This page is dedicated to the brave young men and women who are no longer here to celebrate Memorial Day with us. To those who fought and lived to tell and to those who fought and gave the "ultimate sacrifice"; to the families who will never see their fathers or mothers, sons or daughters, aunts, uncles, cousins or friends again, this page is for you.
To the fighting men and women of our armed forces serving around the World, but especially in Iraq and Afghanistan, this page is for you too. To those 1600 men and women who lost their lives these past 2 years in the middle east's conflicts, this page is dedicated to your memory.
To the 20,000 servicemen and women injured since the start of the wars in iraq and Afghanistan, as well as the other countless men and women hurt in America's wars past, this page is for you, as well.
Finally, this page is dedicated to the memory of the 800 or so men and women that are going to die in battle in Iraq and Afghanistan this year.
May GOD be with you all.
