Today's Note from a Madman

Monday, January 10, 2005

We need to step back and figure out what went wrong in the election and how we can correct it. It was a winnable election, except for a few oversights. One of the drawbacks of the democrats was that the campaign was outsourced to outside groups. How do you correct it? We need to build grassroots organizations, not only in NJ, but in Arkansas, Tennessee, Missouri etc.

The Republicans invite high school seniors and college students for one week in summer to DC and indoctrinate with Republican views by people like Bill Crystal, Richard Pearl and Rich Lowry etc. The democrats should do the same. That is where we should spend our money and energies, in building local grassroots organizations in Red States. That is how we can take back this country.

If Democrats are serious about “Getting out the Vote”, they should be staging “Get out the Vote Drives” NOW. They should start going into the areas and places where their base is “NOW”.

What are they waiting for? November 4, 2008?

An AMA Idea

The American Medical Association should be self-insured.

By providing malpractice insurance to this country's doctors, the AMA can accomplish a couple of things, including:

Doctors deserve better than the lies that "G"lobal "W"arming Bush tells them, and so do we. If single-payer health insurance is not on the horizon, then we need REAL health insurance reform.

This might be a step in the right direction.

Whad’ya Know… It Really DOES Take a Village, the RIGHT'S Village

Just ask President “G”lobal “W”arming Bush

Hillary Clinton, while she was still first lady, wrote, “It takes a Village”. The meaning was that, in this day and age of two-working-parent families, parents need help. Teachers, soccer coaches, religious leaders, all have a hand in raising our children, whether we want to admit it or not.

Today, we have the President and his Corporate Communist friends (yes, I believe they want it as a control mechanism) telling us when we are a family; who is in that family;  and how and when to pray, whether it be in church, school or in a government facility.

The Right's village is a group of small-minded, frustrated people that must have it their way.

You think the village knows where I left my car keys? After all, they know everything else.

You gotta love those Village People (Macho, macho man… I got to be, a macho man…)

The Great Hillary Hunt Begins

David Rosen has been indicted. He was Senator Hillary Clinton's campaign finance director, and he is accused of misstating the cost of a fund-raiser to free up more cash for the Democrat's 2000 election.

Although Senator Clinton has not been implicated, she is now in the sights of the Republican Attack Machine’s guns.

Get ready for trash and mud because here it comes.

Congratulations, Senator Clinton. The Corporate Communists think that YOU are the biggest threat to their continued fleecing of the American People.

Edgar Ray Killen and three other members of the Ku Klux Klan, in their white robes and masks are standing on line waiting to vote on November 2, 2004. You all might know Mr. Killen as the Preacher who got away with the “Mississippi Burning” murders some 40 years ago.

Question: Who do you think Edgar Ray Killen and his Klan Members pulled the handle for?

Oh, wait… I’m wrong… They didn’t have to wait in line.

Hate Creators

We have a history of creating people who hate us.

Look at Iran in 1980… WE installed the Shah.

Look at Afghanistan during the “Cold War”. Where would the “Muja- hedeen” have been without our CIA?

And just where would the Iraqi insurgency and the new terrorists have been without the mismanagement and ineptitude of “G”lobal “W”arming Bush, Donald Rumsfeld and the Corporate Communists who created them?

Does anyone remember the Mel Brooks’ movie, then play, “The Producers”? The plot was to find the worst director, actors and play to produce so “Bialystock and Bloom” could steal money from little old ladies.

Doesn’t this ring just a little, tiny bell?

As Heard on Imus in the Morning

“Diet and Genes” and “The Science of Happiness” grace the covers of the world’s most prestigious news magazines, Newsweek and Time Magazine, respectively.

In response to that,
Don Imus, the ancient radio personality on WFAN in New York and MSNBC TV in the morning said, “The wheels are coming of off the world,” and this is the best they have to offer?

In response,
Charles McCord, a right-wing “you’re gonna burn in hell” Christian, and former classmate of John Ashcroft responded, “maybe they’ve just moved on.”

Maybe they have.

School Days

Teri Hatcher, in order to “stay sexy” for her role on “Desperate Housewives” takes striptease lessons.

Man, did I go to the WRONG SCHOOL.

"It's not fair to those (asbestos manufacturers) who are getting sued,"
-President “G”lobal “W”arming Bush in Clinton Township, Michigan, January 7, 2005

The president also blamed the loss of jobs on the
asbestos litigation. I thought the loss of jobs in the asbestos industry was because we aren’t allowed to poison our children in our public schools with the poison material anymore.

Silly me.
